Hand Towel, Sir?

Well, the last night was awful. My Stepfather screamed my name all night long asking for his diaper to be changed. The first time, at 1am, I needed to change the sheets as well. He finally stopped at 4:30am. Needless to say, I'm tired.

This morning I went to the local medical supply store to purchase a raised toilet seat with hand rails. It cost $75 which Medicare will not reimburse. I'm not even sure it is going to help. This type of toilet seat is not bolted down. It has a pressure screw to keep it in place. He'll most likely pull it loose. Plus, he urinates on the seat. Because he has no balance whatsoever he cannot stand to urinate. He doesn't sit far enough back on this raised seat to clear it, thus I'll be cleaning the toilet after each of his visits. I might as well just sit in there like an old fashioned bathroom attendant.

I lead such a glamerous life.
